The Model 444 from Mid-West Instrument is a competitively priced differential pressure indicator, designed for straightforward and efficient use in applications such as filters and strainers. Its simple yet functional design makes it an excellent alternative to more expensive differential pressure gauges, particularly when readability, compact size, and affordability are key considerations.
The Model 444 features a rugged piston-type sensing element, ensuring durability and reliability in various environments. Its construction is both weather-resistant and corrosion-resistant, making it suitable for demanding conditions. The indicator is equipped with a green/red sliding indicator behind a nylon lens, providing clear and easy-to-read pressure status at a glance. With a differential full-scale ascending accuracy of ±5% (ASME B40.1 Grade D), it guarantees precise measurements.
This model can handle dial scale ranges from 0-5 PSID to 0-25 PSID (0-0.35 bar to 0-1.7 bar) and withstand working pressures up to 300 PSIG (20 Bar). It operates effectively in a temperature range of -40ºF to +200ºF (-40ºC to +93ºC). The body of the Model 444 is made from glass-filled nylon (GFN), with internal wetted parts comprising 316 stainless steel and GFN. The elastomers used include Buna-N and Viton, ensuring compatibility with a variety of fluids and operating conditions.
