Float Level Switch for Extreme Temperature Conditions up to +400 °C

ABLE Instruments are an Official UK Representative for TriMod Besta Float Level Switches, including high and low temperature models designed for use in challenging thermal environments. These rugged float level switches maintain reliable switching performance in extreme conditions, from cryogenic applications below freezing to high-pressure steam systems operating at temperatures up to +400 °C.

Like all TriMod Besta models, these switches are built using a modular design that allows the user to select the most appropriate float, flange and switching module for their specific process. Wetted materials include stainless steel or high-grade alloys that resist corrosion and thermal stress. Optional float chambers are also available to isolate the sensing mechanism from direct process exposure where required.

Typical applications include steam boiler monitoring, heat exchanger overflow protection, hot condensate tanks, cryogenic level monitoring, and reactor vessels in power generation or chemical processing. Their robust mechanical construction makes them well suited to fail-safe systems in temperature-critical processes.

These float level switches can be supplied with electric (SPDT or DPDT) or pneumatic switching elements, and are available with ATEX- or IECEx-certified versions for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. High ingress protection ratings (IP65/IP67) and a wide operating temperature range ensure durability and longevity in the most demanding environments.
