ABLE Instruments & Controls are exclusive UK partners for Ametek Arizona Instrument, an ISO 9001:2000 registered company that designs and manufactures the complete line of Computrac precision moisture/solids/ash analysis instruments and Jerome portable and fixed toxic gas detectors. These instruments are used in research and development, quality control, process control, and environmental monitoring applications.
The current Computrac line is comprised of three technologies: rapid loss-on-drying, high temperature loss-on-ignition, and moisture specific analysis using a polymer capacitance sensor, a GREEN alternative to Karl Fischer.
The Jerome line is comprised of instruments used for detecting trace level mercury and hydrogen sulphide gases. Both portable detection and fixed position monitoring solutions are available, using gold film sensor and atomic fluorescence spectroscopy technologies as the method of detection.
As the official European Service Centre for both the Computrac and Jerome technologies, ABLE provides comprehensive pre- and post-sale customer service, including application development, training, instrument calibration and repair.
