ABLE and Besta have enjoyed a very successful and exclusive partnership for over 35 years. Trimod Besta’s modular design is a unique deviation from conventional level switch construction. This modular system allows individual and numerous combinations of float, flange and switch modules to suit your specific requirements. Switch modules are available with electric, electronic or pneumatic output signals. Switch housings are IP65 as standard but, depending on environmental conditions, IP66, IP67 or IP68 may be selected. For hazardous areas, hermetically sealed microswitches, flameproof housings or pneumatic switch modules can be used.
Trimod Besta flange modules are available in various standards. The Industrial and Plastic Flange ranges are manufactured according to international standards such as EN/DIN, ANSI, BS or JIS. The benefit of the hinged cover, the captive screws and the self-lifting terminal clamps is an easy installation. For convenience of wiring, the connection diagram is shown on the inside of the hinged lid. The interchangeability of the single modules allows high flexibility regarding maintenance or changing application requirements.
Trimod Besta switches are available in both side mounting and top mounting combinations. Other options are:
- Counter flange: weld to tank for easy mounting – available in 316SS & carbon steel
- Test actuator: mechanical test actuator allows for testing of the switch during routine preventative maintenance
- Pressure chambers: remove the float from inside the process tank – custom built to meet specific application needs
- Top mount, bent rod & other configurations
