AMETEK Drexelbrook ThePoint Line Powered Level Switch
Reliable RF Admittance Level Switch with No Moving Parts and Cote‑Shield Protection
ABLE Instruments are AMETEK Drexelbrook’s Exclusive Representative for Sales and Service in the UK and Ireland, including ‘ThePoint’ Line Powered Level Switch. The ThePoint – Line Powered Level Switch uses RF admittance technology to provide highly reliable point‑level detection in liquids, slurries, solids and interface applications. It operates maintenance‑free with no moving parts, and features automatic auto‑calibration so no setpoint adjustments are required for most installations. Cote‑Shield™ circuitry prevents false alarms caused by coatings or build‑up on the sensing probe, ensuring high sensitivity only to actual material presence.
Key Features:
- RF admittance technology: Accurate point-level switching with no moving parts for total reliability
- Auto-calibration: Simply apply power—no manual setpoint adjustments needed
- Cote‑Shield protection: Ignores coatings, build-up or residue on the probe
- Maintenance-free operation: Eliminates wear and jamming from traditional mechanical switches
- Universal power supply: Auto-detects input between 19–250 VAC or 18–200 VDC
- DPDT relay output: Dry-contact switching (5 A at 120 VAC / 2 A at 230 VAC)
- Wide application range: Effective in liquids, slurries, solids and interface media
- Extreme environment rated: −40 °C to +70 °C (electronics); probe-rated up to +260 °C and 69 bar
- Remote or integral electronics: Flexible mounting to suit any vessel configuration

With universal power compatibility (19–250 VAC or 18–200 VDC), it powers up automatically and begins detection immediately. The DPDT relay output supports alarms, valves, pumps or safety interlocks. Rated for extreme environments, from cryogenic conditions to +260 °C, and up to 69 bar (1,000 psi), ThePoint is ideal for rugged process applications.
