AZI Computrac MAX 4000XL Moisture & Solids Analyser
The Computrac MAX 4000XL from Arizona Instrument is a loss-on-drying (LOD) or thermogravimetric analyser allowing fast, high precision measurements of the dry extract of liquid, solid, granular or powder products. Rapid loss on drying instrumentation has proven to provide a more desirable method of moisture measurement when compared to traditional loss on drying techniques, such as ovens and desiccators. The Computrac 4000 XL has a large 5 inch (12.5 cm) diameter tray and a nickel-chromium heater allowing the temperature to be set between 25 and 275°C to + -1°C (temperature certified every 10°C from 50 to 270°C).
Uniform heating and a lid fan that rapidly cools the heat chamber to reduce time between tests, together with a colour LCD and the Parameter Expert feature (assists the user with the development of a test that will produce results that match a specified reference method) represent significant performance enhancements over its predecessor the MAX 2000XL.
The user can affect a menu driven, NIST traceable calibration with the optional Temperature Calibration Kit and user adjustable ending criteria help to optimise test results and performance for your unique application or material.
