J.M. Canty Industrial Process Camera Systems
ABLE Instruments are J.M Canty’s Exclusive Representative for Sales and Service in the UK, including J.M. Canty Industrial Process Camera Systems. J.M. Canty cameras are patented systems that illuminate and view inside pressure or process vessels through a single 2” NPT connection, eliminating the need for multiple ports. They feature an optional integrally mounted camera and lighting system. The video output, compatible with industry standards, can be viewed on a monitor in the control room or recorded on a VCR. A standard monitor or TV with video input can also display the image, providing a clear and convenient way to monitor vessel activity.
Features:
- Approvals: FM, CSA, and CENELEC approvals on various models (worldwide)
- Pressure Rating: Handles up to 10,000 PSI
- Temperature Capability: Operates up to 2000°F
- Connection Options: Available in 2” NPT, 2” flange and larger, and 2” Tri-Clamp® and larger
- Camera Types: High-resolution CCD cameras in B&W and colour with NTSC, PAL, and Ethernet output
- Remote Monitoring: View your process remotely from the control room
- Single Nozzle: Combined viewing and illumination with a single nozzle
- Light Control: Remote light dimming available
- Cleaning: Spray rings available to keep the window clean
Process & Industrial Camera Systems:
Canty Centrifuge Process Industrial Camera Systems mount via tri-clamp to the existing light or sight port, enabling continuous internal viewing from the control room. The Vector™ image processing computer analyses the view and provides a 4-20mA output for fill level, filtering level, and cake (solids) detection. This level control ensures consistent batching to the centrifuge, improving process efficiency and monitoring accuracy.
Canty Spray Dryer Monitoring Industrial Process Camera Systems are vision-based camera and light combinations designed to monitor spray nozzle patterns in real time. This system allows operators to detect changes in the spray profile and identify clogging before it becomes an issue. It also helps in spotting product build-up, preventing potential fire risks. The Canty Vector™ Image Processor can automate the system to measure the size and shape of the spray pattern profile, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Canty ‘Foam Detection’ Industrial Process Camera Systems use an Ethernet camera to provide measurement images to a customer-supplied PC with a Microsoft Windows-based OS (NT/XP/2000) and Ethernet connectivity. Each camera comes with CantyVision™ software, which interfaces via TCP/IP to capture digital images over an Ethernet network. The system dynamically analyses the images to measure bubble size, froth velocity, and stability, allowing for real-time foam monitoring and process optimisation.
