Magnetrol Eclipse 700 Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter
ABLE Instruments are Magnetrol’s Exclusive Representative for Sales and Service in the UK and Ireland, including the Eclipse Model 700 loop-powered 24 VDC level transmitter utilising advanced Guided Wave Radar (GWR) technology. This transmitter is designed to deliver superior measurement accuracy and reliability across a wide range of applications, surpassing traditional technologies. The Model 700 is suitable for use with various probe types and excels in measuring liquids, solids, or slurries, ranging from light hydrocarbons to water-based media, with a dielectric constant (εr) from 1.2 to 100.
A key feature of the Eclipse Model 700 is its versatility. One universal transmitter can be interchanged with multiple probe types, making it highly adaptable for different processes. Certified for critical safety loops (SIL 2/3), it ensures enhanced reliability in demanding applications. It is ideal for level measurement in process or storage vessels, accommodating a range of process conditions, including visible vapours, foam, surface agitation, and varying media characteristics.

- Multivariable, two-wire, 24 VDC loop-powered transmitter for level, interface, volume, or flow
- Level measurement not affected by changing media characteristics
- Overfill capable probes allow for “true level” measurement all the way up to the process seal, without the need for special algorithms
- 4-button keypad and graphic LCD display allow for convenient viewing of configuration parameters and echo curve
- Proactive diagnostics advise not only what is wrong, but also offer troubleshooting tips
- Probe designs up to +200 °C/431 bar (+400 °F/6250 psi)

The Eclipse Model 700 also supports modern communication standards like FDT/DTM and Enhanced DD (EDDL), offering seamless integration with tools such as PACTware, AMS Device Manager, and HART Field Communicators.
