The Nestec 4000 Series is a robust mechanical flow switch ideal for use in closed-loop cooling systems, water treatment skids, lubrication systems, and OEM equipment. It provides a simple electrical signal to confirm the presence or absence of flow, helping protect pumps, valves and other critical process components.
Flow is sensed using a magnetically actuated reed switch, which is isolated from the process media. When flow exceeds a defined threshold, the magnet lifts into place and changes the switch state. This basic yet effective principle allows the switch to operate reliably over many years without maintenance or recalibration.
