United Electric 800 Series Temperature Switch
ABLE Instruments are United Electric’s Exclusive Representative for Sales and Service in the UK and Ireland, including the UE 800 Series, an indicating temperature electromechanical switch for industrial heating and cooling applications. The 800 Series are temperature switches for general service or harsh environment applications. They offer single or dual SPDT switch output, external adjustment with front-face indicator knob(s), NEMA 1 faceplate or NEMA 4X/7/9/IP66 enclosure, stainless steel bulb and capillary, UL listed, cUL certified, CE, ATEX compliance.
If your application requires a local visual display of the process temperature and setpoint, UE’s 800 series offers the solution. Whether you need a general service switch or an explosion-proof model that can tolerate harsh environments, there’s an 800 series switch for the application.
Features:
- Indication and control switching for temperature ranges from -180° to 650°F (-118° to 343°C)
- Stainless steel bulb and capillary
- One or two SPDT switch outputs
- Easy adjustment via front-face knob; Dual switches have separate knobs and temperature pointers for each switch setpoint
- Choice of NEMA 1/4 corrosion-resistant Lexan enclosure and faceplate or NEMA 4X/7/9/IP66 epoxy-coated diecast aluminium enclosure with Lexan cover and faceplate
- Explosion-proof models (820E/822E) are UL listed, cUL certified, CE, ATEX compliant, for use in Class I, Div 1 and 2, Class II, Div 1 and 2, Class III, and Class I, Zone 1 areas
