As a responsible company we understand that not everyone needs a straight forward ‘out of the box’ product and that our commitment to our customers does not end once supply of equipment is fulfilled.

Engineer Site Services

Whether you are an existing user of an ABLE supplied product or require a survey of your installation to ensure equipment suitability, our technical services department are on hand to help.

Our factory trained, experienced service engineers are able to provide on-site surveys, supervise installation and perform commissioning of the equipment, as well as carry out repairs or remedial work.

This can be achieved by emergency mobilisation as the need arises, or via scheduled maintenance visits as part of ongoing healthcare contracts tailored to suit the needs of our customers. Whether it’s domestic or international, onshore or offshore, ABLE service engineers are fully certified for all eventualities.

Repairs / Calibration

ABLE Instruments carry out repairs and fully traceable calibrations on all types of measurement equipment. Our services are not limited to equipment that we have manufactured or supplied and our expertise incorporates flow, level, temperature, pressure, humidity devices.

We also specialise in analytical instruments for the monitoring of hydrogen sulphide, mercury vapour, moisture and oil in water. Instrumentation can be sent to us, or we can travel to your location.

Instrument Hire

We can offer a full range of instruments to suit your measurement requirements on a hire basis whether they be short, medium or long term.

We also offer a ‘man and machine’ service where one of our qualified application engineers will visit your site, conduct a survey and compile a report on the measurements made including advice on how to optimise your process.

Should you decide to purchase any hired instrumentation, we can offer a credit back on the hire cost. Typical hired instruments include:

  • Portable Ultrasonic Flow Meters
  • Jerome Mercury and H2S Analysers
  • Computrac Moisture in Solids Analysers

Remote Support

ABLE Support Console (ASC) includes onshore remote technical support, including:

  • Hands on assistance for your flare meter from onshore by our team of factory trained experts
  • Troubleshooting, telephone support and remote interface to fix errors and optimise configurations
  • Diagnostic logging analysed by our experts and remedial action implemented without the need to mobilise an engineer
  • ABLE Support Console (ASC) Package comprising IS Tablet, Software and Interface can be supplied on a rental basis with a lifetime free license
  • Simple hook-up; two or four-wire connection to flare meter Modbus utilising an intrinsically safe ATEX tablet
  • Variable term contracts available
